Crimsworth Dene, near Hebden Bridge, was a favourite spot for the Hughes brothers.  In the 1930s, Gerald and Ted used to go on small camping & hunting expeditions here.

Tooted as »the first biography of Ted Hughes«, this is a sorry little (or rather big) book. Sadly, the account is riddled with error, poorly researched and sometimes (it seems) pure fantasy. REVIEW
